Dejanae Carpenter, LCSW
Hi there! I’m Dejanae (she/her), an Afro-Caribbean therapist, podcast listener, baker, solo traveler, all-season hot chocolate lover, and proud fur mom.
I specialize in working with teens, college students, young adults, and early-career professionals navigating the messy, overwhelming in-between stages of life. This may include anxiety, the impact of trauma, identity exploration, burnout, school stress, relationship challenges, body image or food-related concerns, people-pleasing, perfectionism, or simply trying to feel like yourself again.
I’m EMDR-trained and work from a trauma-informed lens, with a focus on helping you feel more grounded, understood, and connected to yourself in a space that feels both tender and luxe. I am dedicated to providing culturally responsive, trauma-informed care for folks navigating systemic stress, with a particular commitment to supporting BIPOC clients.
You deserve a space where you don’t have to over-explain yourself and can feel genuinely supported. I’m absolutely in your corner.
